Most employees in the area commute via car. However, buses from the Cobb Country Transit system link to the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), giving residents and employees another method of getting around town.

You’ll find charming town squares, luxury enclave communities and village-style neighborhoods peppering Northwest Atlanta, making it attractive to families. But that’s not all the towns of Smyrna, Cumberland and Vinings have to offer. Each has its own strong economy, bolstered by well-known companies, local services, entertainment and retail centers.
Smyrna’s top employers include multinational biopharmaceutical manufacturer UCB, along with IBM, United Distributors, and Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna. All employ more than 500. The Atlanta Bread Company’s headquarters are located in Smyrna, while The Home Depot’s headquarters are right outside of Vinings.
Cumberland features The Cobb Galleria Centre, conveniently located at the junction of I-75 and I-285. It has plenty of large meeting spaces, and connects to both the Renaissance Waverly Hotel and Cumberland Mall. The Weather Channel calls Cumberland home, as does SunTrust Park, the mixed-use development where Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves will play starting in 2017.
Just across I-20, Six Flags Over Georgia attracts visitors and residents alike with its more than 40 rides and nearly year-round amusement.
