Transforming a space into a multi-use facility with medical offices and over 20 examination rooms is no easy task. That’s why Boxer Property is proud to announce the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation of their Northlake Office Campus at 2309 Parklake Drive in northeastern metro Atlanta.
We are honored to house the future location for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Eye and Compensation and Pension (C&P) Clinics.
The VA Eye Clinic will provide eye exams, prescription eyewear, feature advanced low-vision services, and perform Lasik procedures as well as other minor eye surgeries. The C&P Clinic will conduct necessary exams to evaluate Veteran’s health for disability claims. The facility will also be the central administrative department for the VA’s TeleHealth division.
Commercial renovations of 2309 Parklake began in November of 2018 with the complete demolition of the existing interior including cutting into the original slab. From there, 52 new plumbing fixtures were installed in addition to a new 6-ton HVAC unit. The facility also required a state-of-the-art security office with 19 interconnected surveillance cameras.
Professional planners Michelle Clooney and Ashlee Owens designed the space and coordinated renovations under the guidance of Senior Planner James Penny. Construction was overseen by Vince Wyatt, and the on-site property manager is Lisa Garrison.
