The Retail branch of Boxer Property was established in 2003 when Boxer became involved in the management of a Regional Shopping Mall in Houston, Texas. In 2004 Boxer assumed management of a second regional mall, La Gran Plaza in Fort Worth, Texas, which it manages through its subsidiary, Grupo Zocalo. In 2010 Boxer Retail was born as the Retail portfolio grew and demanded a new team with a retail focus. Similar to its parent company, Boxer Retail specializes in improving the value of commercial retail properties, and quickly stabilizing assets by using aggressive cost control and leasing strategies.
