Addison may be a suburb of Dallas, but you’d never know it during business hours. Addison has one of the lowest tax rates in Texas.
Each winter, the town of Addison plants over 75,000 tulips. The bulbs come from Holland, a country renowned for its beautiful tulips. During the spring, the town blooms with tulips.
Dr. T and the Women starring Richard Gere, Farah Fawcett, and Helen Hunt was filmed in Addison.
Addison has one of the biggest fireworks shows in Texas, called Kaboom Town.
